About Howard Sengstack

Howard Sengstack teaches beginner to advanced guitar, helping students develop strong technique while exploring music they genuinely enjoy playing. His structured, relaxed lessons incorporate sight-reading, chord theory, pick technique, and fingerstyle playing while building confident musicianship. Howard teaches rock, pop, country, jazz, blues, and classical music, using each student’s musical interests to make technical skills and theory practical and engaging. Whether preparing for recitals or simply learning guitar for fun, students receive encouraging guidance toward their individual goals. Howard holds an A.A. in Music from Montgomery College and a B.A. in Performance from Shepherd University.
