Get to know Howard Sengstack
Howard Sengstack has been teaching guitar since 1998. He enjoys teaching all styles of
music including rock, blues, jazz, classical and country. Howard also teaches bass guitar.
In addition to teaching music fundamentals he is happy to help students work toward
goals due to their specific interests or involvement with various music groups.
Howard has a BA in Guitar Performance from Shepherd University and an AA in music
from Montgomery College.
Howard has experience playing in big bands, jazz combos, country, blues and rock bands. Since 2004, Howard has been playing guitar with the band Retrospect at weddings and
various corporate and charity events.
When he is not teaching or playing guitar Howard enjoys hiking and biking with his family.
