Performance Experience: Jackie's toured all over the world. Most notably, she's performed on the Saturday Night Live Stage, the Smooth Jazz Cruise around NYC, South by Southwest Festival, the Cape Cod Jazz Festival, and the Burlington Jazz Festival.
Teaching Experience: Jackie has been teaching private lessons since 2007. She has also taught music in New Haven public schools, the University of Massachusetts, and the Regional Center for the Arts in Trumbull, CT.
Teaching Philosophy: The student always comes first! I love to hear why the student is interested in music and why and we go from there. I can write and arrange to work on a particular student's goals and needs.
Get to know Jackie Chasen
Jackie studied music at the Berklee College of Music and jazz composition at the University of Massachusetts. She's been performing and composing ever since. Her pieces have been performed all over the world. Jackie loves teaches and always uses a student focused method.
