Get to know Jackson Sharpe

“Hello, my name is Jackson, and I have been involved with music my entire life. I have been an active musician in the tristate area for the past decade. I specialize in saxophone, piano, and voice, and have been playing piano and singing throughout the entirety of my life. I have been playing saxophone for the last 8 years, and have been apart of the Shepherd University RAM Band, Jazz Ensemble, Wind Ensemble, and various small ensembles.

I am an autodidact (primarily self-taught) but also have received lessons on saxophone, trumpet, jazz, and composition throughout my attendance at Shepherd University from 2015-2021.

My ultimate goal is to help inspire young, new, and any aspiring musicians of all ages that are eager to excel during their musical journey. I look forward to working with my students in a safe, fun, and relaxing environment that is welcome to anyone! Music is a universal language, so I am extremely eager to spread around the knowledge and be your musical coach!”
