About James Gilson III

Hi  I'm James and I love teaching piano.  I have been teaching for over 15 years and I always strive to get my students as excited as I am everyday about communicating with the universal language of music.  Whether classical, contemporary or jazz/blues based, I can help you reach your piano playing goals.  I began taking piano lessons at age 8 and I've been fascinated ever since.  After playing professionally for over 8 years and helping to raise a family, I am now on a journey to be my personal best as a jazz pianist and teaching has truly helped me get closer to my goal.
