About Jazzy Chastain

Hello my future students! My names Jazzy and I am a violinist and a self taught fiddle player. I started playing when I was 10 and I even rented my first violin from M&A! It’s a big circle moment for me since I am now an instructor at M&A. I have played with my school orchestras and I’ve been hired to play at Christmas parties. I’ve even worked as a musician at the Texas Renaissance Festival! Music to me is universal, I’ve never been restricted to one genre. I am trained as a classical violinist but I love playing Irish fiddle and Bluegrass. I can also play viola and I’ve taught myself the ukulele. I tell everyone interested in the art of string instruments, once you learn how to play one, you can learn to play them all! I am open to anything my students want to learn whether you’re a first year player or a sixth year, I’m here to attend to what you want to learn and be an ear for you. I am so excited to meet y’all and I can’t wait for our music adventures!
