About Jeanne

Jeanne Cannata is a professional guitarist, vocalist, songwriter, and recorded artist. She has been trained in Contemporary and Classical styles of music, and has been playing the guitar for over 30 years. Jeanne has performed in music choir concerts and theatre art shows all throughout her formal education, and she was inducted into the International Thespian Society. She first attended California Institute of the Arts as a Fine Art music major at 17 years old. After her freshman year, she decided to attend Groves School of Music where she received a graduate certificate in the Vocal Program. After graduating, she gave private beginner guitar lessons and then started her performance career where she played on guitar and vocals on stages and venues in the USA and Japan. Her strong listening and communication skills and love of playing the guitar allow her the ability to engage on all levels with her students. She would love to share her knowledge and abilities to help you learn and experience the fun and enjoyment of playing the guitar.
