Teaching Philosophy: As a musician, the goal should not be to play as fast as possible, louder than your peers, or to show off; rather, the goal is to create art that holds meaning to your audience. Ultimately, music is another way to express yourself, and my hope as a teacher is to help my students put their deepest emotions into their music. Playing flute has given me happiness that is indescribable, and I aim to provide this same spark to my students.
