Performance Experience: Performed at festivals, film productions, theater, ballet, among other projects.
Teaching Experience: Teaching lessons for eight years and student taught as part of my music education degree at several schools in the area.
Teaching Philosophy: My goal is to help the student realize its potential and help them succeed while learning about music and incorporating new knowledge into their lives. Music enhances quality of living while developing leadership and problem solving skills, but also creativity and character in an individual. Moreover, music can be a fun activity that will challenge the student while creating art.
Get to know Jessica Achon
I have played for almost twenty years and received degrees in both music education and music performance. I have played in several ensembles including ballet and opera orchestras, chamber music and symphonic ensembles. Currently I am part of the Gulf Coast Symphony and the Meridian Symphony Orchestras.
