Get to know Joanna
Joanna Williams teaches beginner to advanced piano, violin, viola, cello, and music theory to students of all ages. Her encouraging lessons combine scales, arpeggios, chords, sight-reading, theory, and varied repertoire while helping students build knowledge and enjoy making music. Joanna teaches classical, folk, and traditional and contemporary church music, using positive reinforcement and Suzuki-inspired principles to support steady progress. She prepares students for recitals, festivals, auditions, UIL events, orchestra programs, and performances while developing lifelong musicianship. Joanna holds a Bachelor of Music and brings over 30 years of teaching and extensive performance experience.
