Get to know JayLambert
Jay Lambert is originally from Newnan, Georgia and studied in the studio of Mariano Pacetti. Jay did his undergraduate work in the studios of Dr. Bill Schmid and Dr. C. Douglas Graves. A Carter Scholar and Coastal Jazz Association Scholarship winner, Jay was a regular musician in Savannah's vibrant music scene. Jay regularly shared the stage with Savannah musicians Doug Carne, Willie Matthews, and Tony Clark. Jay has headlined at the Jacksonville Jazz Festival as a member of The Revue. Outside of Savannah, Jay has shared the stage with Bob Newhart, Tom "Bones" Malone, and composer Jim Bonney. Groups led by Jay have performed across Europe including a performance at the Bayerisches Landesmusikfest in Munich, Germany. Jay is currently the saxphone plsyer in the Statesboro blues band. Jay's private studio has included members of the Atlanta Youth Wind Symphony and the Georgia All-State Band. Jay currently resides in Cumming with his wife Jennifer and children Ella and JW.
