Teaching Philosophy: Approach the unknown with an open mind. With consistency and a conscious effort towards understanding/improvement, anything is possible. When things get challenging it's an opportunity to overcome and grow, but together we will find a way!
Get to know John Lane-Watson
John Lane-Watson holds a passion for all things music. He has performed in various mediums from Symphony Orchestras, Marching Bands, Pep Bands, and Big Band/Small group Jazz settings. He is a multi-instrumentalist but focuses primarily on Piano and Bass (Electric and Upright) as a performer, composer/producer, and educator. When he is not rehearsing, practicing, or performing musically he is out and about traveling to High Schools/Community Colleges as an Admissions Recruiter for the University of North Texas, and enjoys reading, listening to podcasts, and getting too deep into music theory.
