Performance Experience: Performed on the drum set through out the southeast for 27 years. Working mostly as a freelance drummer, he has had the opportunity to work with a variety of artists spanning multiple genres including The Piedmont Boys, Milli Fungus, TJ Lazer and sharing the stage with Blackberry Smoke, Shooter Jennings, and Marcus King
Teaching Philosophy: My goal is to help each student be able to express their individual voice through the medium of the drum set. Teaching them the technical skills necessary to make their rhythmic dreams a reality.
Get to know John Taylor
John Taylor has been playing the drums for 33 years. He is a graduate of The Fine Arts Center, and The Atlanta Institute of Music and studied under Chris Coleman and Jeff Sipe. He has been preforming in the southeast for 27 years mostly as a freelance drummer encompassing many different genres and styles. He is excited to be able to share his passion for the craft and help his students have fun, find their voices, and be able to express themselves on this wonderful instrument.
