Get to know John Thu
I am a senior at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro pursuing my undergraduate degree in Public Health Education. I have been playing guitar and bass guitar for 8 years and informally taught peers and prospective musicians for 4 years. I have taught to a wide range of students, especially at the beginner level. I believe in helping students experience the excitement of creating music by giving them foundational skills and knowledge that will carry them far and be applicable across their musical career. I think it is important to have fun while learning and making music. I typically teach rock, pop, and alternative styles of guitar and bass guitar.
