Get to know Jonathan Mendez
Jonathan W. Mendez (he/him), based in Old Bridge, NJ, is an emerging euphonium artist known
for his mastery in playing multiple instruments. Since joining the Atlantic Brass Band in 2022,
he's been their second baritone. His freelance career includes performances with the Princeton,
Lancaster, and Chesapeake Brass Bands, Monmouth Symphony Orchestra, and is a substitute
with the United States Air Force Band. Jonathan, with a Master’s in Euphonium Performance
from Duquesne University and a Bachelor’s in Computer Science and Music from Allegheny
College, has performed internationally at conferences and with actress Janina Gavankar.
