About Jordan Rowan
Get to know Jordan Rowan
Jordan Rowan, is primarily a trombone player who enjoys a healthy playing and teaching career. Having graduated with his Master in Trombone Performance from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, and a Bachelor's degree in Trombone Performance from West Chester University of Pennsylvania he gained a wealth of knowledge from amazing teachers, and colleagues.
His Primary teachers have been Timothy Anderson and Dan Cherry. While primarily a classical player, he has played in numerous other groups outside the classical realm, having experience in Jazz, commercial music, and brass bands.
Teaching has always been his passion, a number of his prior students have made the likes of Philadelphia Youth Orchestra, Reading Youth Orchestra, PMEA Festivals (Districts, Regionals, All-State), and other in school honors bands.
