Performance Experience: Performed in the APU Jazz Ensemble, Studio Orchestra, Herald Trumpets, and has performed for numerous churches in the LA area
Teaching Experience: Jordan has been teaching trumpet lessons for 3 years since he was a sophomore (2017) in high school for the South Hills High School band.
Teaching Philosophy: I believe that the music comes from the individual and not the instrument. Following the philosophy of famous trumpet player, Bill Adam, I believe that there needs to be a connection between the phisiology of the player and the instrument to make music. I find it important for musicians to find a love for what they're doing. I like to be the person who helps foster a love and motivation to make music and obtain a skill that is not easy to do.

Jordan Sibayan is obtaining his Bachelor of Music, majoring in Commercial Music at Azusa Pacific University located in Azusa, California. He currently is located in West Covina, CA. He is passionate about performing and writing music as he aspires to become a composer for Disney. As of now, he has been a member of his church, Faith Calvary Baptist Chuch, Los Angeles, for 5 years playing trumpet, acoustic guitar, and bass guitar for worship. From the years 2016-2020, he attended South Hills High School where he was a part of marching band, jazz ensemble, and symphonic band for all four years. Currently, he is a trumpet playing in the Azusa Pacific University Jazz Ensemble and Studio Orchestra.
