About Jorge Maresch
Get to know Jorge Maresch
Jorge Maresch is Las Vegas-born Lincoln Center Stage cellist and a freelance artist with a passion for chamber music. He made his solo debut performing the Elgar Cello Concerto with the Las Vegas Philharmonic in 2011. He then moved to San Francisco to be under the tutelage of Jean-Michel Fonteneau and Jennifer Culp for his Bachelor's and Master's degrees from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music.
As a performer, he is a founding member of Astreaus String Quartet in San Francisco to promote new music, and in Las Vegas, he performs with Parea Flute trio. As a member of the LCS roster on the Holland America cruises, he headlines with a piano quartet for chamber and pop concerts.
Jorge is also a dedicated teacher, having taught at Syntonique Studios and Amabile School of Music in San Francisco, and especially loves to coach chamber groups.
