About Joshua Zimmerman

Meet Joshua Zimmerman! Josh teaches a wide variety of instruments, including Guitar, Bass, Ukulele, Piano & Voice, along with folk instruments like Mandolin and Banjo. Josh has previously worked as Music Director, rehearsal pianist, instructor, arranger, and accompanist, and performed on piano, keyboards, guitar, banjo, bass, percussion, and voice, for many prestigious local companies, including Village Theater, Seattle Musical Theater, Second Story Rep, Renton Civic Theatre, STAGEright, ArtsWest, Lakewood Playhouse, and Taproot, among many others.  Josh also was the assistant Music Director and played Keys for the musical "Greece" tour in Switzerland and other European countries at the end of 2018/beginning of 2019. Josh has been teaching private lessons for 25+ years and has taught and directed bands in the School of Rock program, who toured the United states for almost 2 years back in 2015. Whether it be music composition, sight reading, or just picking up the basics of an instrument, Josh is thrilled and excited to begin working with new students of all ages and skill levels. 

Josh teaches at the Burien location on Tuesdays & Thursdays!
