Hello, I'm Julian Faranda, and I'm excited to be a part of your musical journey. My lifelong passion for music has led me to specialize in keyboard instruments, including piano, organ, and harpsichord, and become a composer in a variety of styles. I am dedicated to sharing my knowledge and expertise with students of all levels and ages who want to learn to play the piano in any style ranging from classical to popular music to Broadway show tunes. I will prepare you for NYSSMA and ABRSM exams, performances, and auditions. I'm highly regarded for my patience and ability to create a positive learning environment.

I am committed to helping you achieve your full potential to reach your musical goals, in piano playing or composition, and take you as far as you want to go. With my in-depth understanding of piano performance, music history, and theory, we'll explore the rich tapestry of musical styles and techniques. In composition lessons designed for your level of advancement, together we will create beautiful melodies and harmonies, infusing your compositions with your unique voice.

In addition, I specialize in composing film scores and have had the honor of learning the craft from my mentor, award-winning producer John Wilson, who has collaborated with legends such as the Jackson family, Barry White, and Quincy Jones.
