Get to know Justin Newberger
Mr. Newberger holds a B.S. in Music Education from Towson University where he was awarded a full-tuition scholarship and was the concertmaster of the university orchestra for 3 years. He has over 20 years of private teaching experience on violin and viola from beginner to advanced levels. This is his 10th year teaching orchestra in the public schools of MD and WV. He was the assistant director of the York Junior Symphony for 10 years and was the sectional coach for violins at Shippensburg and Shepherd Universities.
Mr. Newberger has over 20 years of performance experience as a violinist, including the York Symphony, the Shippensburg Festival Orchestra, Two Rivers Chamber Orchestra, Pennsylvania Philharmonic, and other orchestras in MD, PA, and WV. He has had experience playing in orchestras with renowned violin soloists including Joshua Bell, Sarah Chang, Eugene Fodor, and Nadja Solerno-Sonnenberg as well as popular artists such as Peter Cetera, Clay Aiken, and Natalie Cole.
