About Kathryn Tuttle

Get to know Kathryn Tuttle
Kathryn is an experienced violinist, teacher, and performer from Columbus, Indiana. She earned her Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance from Jordan College of the Arts at Butler University in Indianapolis, IN and is currently working towards her Master of Music in Violin Performance at the University of Delaware. As a teacher, Kathryn is committed to providing high-quality music education to students from all backgrounds and emphasizes mindful and intentional playing in her teaching. As a versatile violinist, she has performed in a variety of settings across the country, most recently performing as a violin/viola double in the debut for the new American musical “Shanghai Sonatas.” In addition to this, Kathryn recently performed her last of five seasons as a section violinist with the Columbus Indiana Philharmonic, and the Butler University Ballet Orchestra where she performed major productions with one of the top collegiate ballet programs in the nation. Outside of orchestral experience, Kathryn enjoys regularly performing chamber music with both her midwest-based and east coast string quartets for weddings, recitals, and various other events.
