Performance Experience: I have performed on many stages that range from weddings to corporate events and in between. I have also sung backgrounds live and recorded for many artists.
Teaching Experience: I have experience with vocal arranging for singing groups and solo artists. I have also been teaching voice for a few years and recently started teaching piano to beginners and intermediate players.
Teaching Philosophy: I believe that it is important to meet each student where they are musically. I like to customize each lesson unique to each student. I like my lessons to be fun yet educational. It is my goal to bring out confidence of everyone I teach.
Get to know Miss Kayla
Kayla Greenwade has been singing for 20+ years and professionally performing for 8+ years. She started singing in the choir at church and later went to school at Citrus College in Glendora. She was apart of the music department ensembles (Night Shift, The Blue Note Orchestra, and small jazz combos). Recently Kayla graduated from Cal Poly Pomona with a Bachelor's degree in Music. She has years of experience of singing backrgrounds for grammy nominated artists, touring in Hawaii at the Sheridan Waikiki. Kayla is excited to teach at Music & Arts to inspire others towards their musical goals.
