Get to know Kelly Chambers
Hi! I am originally from VA Beach, VA, and started playing violin when I was 10 years old. A friend of the family came over to our house for dinner and played her violin for us and I fell in love. I moved to Charlottesville for undergrad at UVA, have since moved around a bit (Fairfax, VA, then South Carolina), and came back! I’ve been back in the Charlottesville area for 5 years, and recently transitioned from working in higher education at UVA to pursuing music full-time. Now I play for weddings and events and have loved teaching and sharing my love of the violin with those who are excited to learn. Thankful to be teaching in person as we come out of this pandemic together!
