About Ken Cohen
Get to know Ken Cohen
Originally from Long Island, Ken Cohen has been soloist and music director for both vocal and instrumental ensembles,
earning the designation of Master Folk Artist from the Hawaii State Foundation on Culture and the Arts. He has performed
as lead baritone in productions of the Santa Cruz Opera, as multi-instrumentalist in musical theater orchestras around
Northern California, and was Music Director for the Bear Republic Theater, The Sufi Choir, and the Hanuman Fellowship production of
The Ramayana, just to name a few. Ken has performed on guitar, flutes, percussion, and keyboards in Rock, Folk, World Music, Classical, and Folk ensenbles.
He has taught classes and private lessons in guitar, flute, singing, and percussion.
