Performance Experience:
As an active performer, Kennedy is committed to playing a wide variety of music. She has performed with orchestras including the New Texas Symphony Orchestra, Columbus Indiana Philharmonic, Springfield Symphony Orchestra, the Missouri Philharmonic, and the Galloway Chamber Orchestra on many large works. Additionally, she regularly plays in the pit orchestras for Springfield Little Theatre and Tent Theatre.
Teaching Experience:
Kennedy has been teaching private lessons since 2019 and has experience coaching chamber ensembles, teaching marching band, and leading sectionals.
Teaching Philosophy:
Kennedy believes in fostering a supportive environment, prioritizing musicality, and empowering students with the right tools to succeed. A positive learning environment is crucial for growth, both as a musician and as an individual. My role is not just to teach students how to play a specific piece of music, but to give them the tools they need to become confident and successful musicians and people.

Kennedy Ryan is a performer and educator based in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. She began playing trumpet in McKinney, Texas and has performed with various orchestras, wind ensembles, and brass bands throughout Indiana, Arkansas, Missouri, and Texas. Beyond performance, Kennedy is a committed educator, maintaining a private studio and teaching at various middle and high school programs. As a member of Pi Kappa Lambda, Mu Phi Epsilon, the International Trumpet Guild, and the National Association for Music Education, Kennedy is actively engaged in the music community and continues to contribute to the field of music education and performance.
