Get to know Kris Downs
Kristofor Downs is an accomplished guitarist and educator, now based in Northeast Ohio. With 15 years of teaching experience, Kris is dedicated to fostering musical growth in his students. His education in Classical Guitar laid the foundation for his versatility across a wide range of genres and playing styles, allowing him to engage students with various musical interests. Kris holds two Master’s degrees from the University of Akron—one in Guitar Performance (2021) and another in Music Composition (2023). Beyond guitar instruction, Kris has shared his knowledge through lectures and courses on Music Theory, inspiring students with his passion for music.
