Performance Experience: As a student of Dr. Eric Nestler, Mr. Bond performed with a wide variety of ensembles at UNT, which include the Wind Symphony, Wind Orchestra, Wind Ensemble, various saxophone choirs and jazz combos, student composer ensembles, and was a member of the Aurora Saxophone Quartet. Mr. Bond performed with the Aurora Quartet at the 42nd Annual Navy Band Saxophone Symposium in Washington D.C. in 2020.
Teaching Experience: Mr. Bond began his time as an educator as a field technician for the Wakeland High School marching band the 2017 and 2018, and then served in the same role for the Coppell High School marching band in 2019 and 2020. His student teaching was recently completed at Lone Star High school and Stafford Middle School in Frisco ISD.
Teaching Philosophy: Mr. Bond’s teaching philosophy includes having his students lead their own learning, and creating a positive environment for his students to musically thrive in. Mr. Bond is thrilled to continue his time teaching at Music and Arts!
