Teaching Philosophy: All people are musical. All children can learn and improve. Young musicians can and SHOULD have FUN while learning music and can learn to appreciate and discern the difference between mediocre and very good musical performances. Music students should learn many styles of music and be allowed to pursue styles that interest them. Musical learning and performance can help us learn perseverance, improve self-confidence, foster creativity, and uplift ourselves and others.
