About Lesle Stjohn

Lesle St.John has enjoyed teaching piano in Arizona for over 25 years. An Arizona native, she first began teaching at the age of 15.  She played clarinet in the Shadow Mountain High School concert and marching band, as well as bass in their jazz ensemble. Lesle further polished her musical skills studying at Scottsdale Community College and Arizona State University. In addition to playing and teaching piano, she is an accomplished classical guitarist.  She enjoys teaching students of all ages and backgrounds and emphasizes the basics in music theory and technique, which can be applied to any genre. Lesle encourages having fun, while developing performance skills. She currently sings and plays with folk-Armericana trio, The Sand Pigeons, and with her husband and fellow Music & Arts teacher, Ukiah, in the classical guitar duo, Art of Music.
