About Lettie Miller

Get to know Lettie Miller
Lettie started playing cello when she was 6 years old. It was a bumpy start, (she didn’t love practicing, but what 6 year old does?) but she eventually grew to love it! By the time she was in middle school she was hooked! She recently completed a Bachelors degree in Music Education from Brigham Young University-Provo and moved to Herndon VA with her husband and two cats, Berlioz and Sibelius. While in college she performed with the BYU Philharmonic and the Salty City Cello Band. Before moving to Virginia, she was the assistant orchestra director at Spanish Fork high school and Junior High. She created and worked with the Prattland Cello Choir and hopes to create another one in Virginia. Lettie has been teaching cello lessons for over 9 years and believes that anyone and any age can learn how to play an instrument.
