About Lisa Overly

She started piano lessons at age six and continued with them for sixteen consecutive years,

until finishing her degree in music education.

Lisa holds a Bachelor of Science in Music Education with a proficiency in piano and a

secondary in voice from Bob Jones University in Greenville South Carolina.

Lisa started her teaching career at age 16 at her local music store and has been teaching piano and voice and other subjects since then.

Her cooperating teacher, from her student teaching semester in college, stated this on Facebook in 2022, " You are so very talented! You were born to teach! Your drive to teach is NOW so visible to the world! Thank you for believing in yourself.
