About Lori Selvy

 Lori A Selvy currently works for Music and Arts Centers as a piano instructor, at the 

Western Branch location Chesapeake Virginia. Previously, she worked at DND Music Learning 

Center and Retail Store for ten years instructing beginning to intermediate level piano. She also 

has occasionally instructed beginning voice lessons and beginning group piano classes, while

working at DND. Lori works with the music team at her church. She primarily sings on this team

but she dose replace the Minister of Music when needed. This requires singing while playing 

the piano for church services. The church has a small children's choir that performs a few times

during the year, which she directs. While attending Tidewater Community College, she earned

a Career Studies Certificate for Music in August 2011. She attended Old Dominion University

taking music classes in 2011-2012.
