About Manny Mendez

Hello all!

My name is Manny Mendez and I am your Brass Instructor.  I primarily specialize with the trumpet and have personally studied how to confidently play the French Horn and Trombone.  My studies come from high school concert, jazz, and marching band, as well as, in depth trumpet skills with the Spartans Drum and Bugle Corps.  I currently am studying to obtain my Masters in Music Education at a high school level and will soon obtain that accomplishment in 2026.  I currently assist the Milford High School Band Director with marching band and have assisted the program since 2012.  Since the opportunity, I have studied closely with the former and current band director with musical knowledge to better understand the requirements to teach any student.

Here at Music & Arts, I will be your brass instructor and will ensure that you are provided with a well rounded educational experience to help accomplish all of the basics for what is required to play a brass instrument!
