Performance Experience: After his time with his middle and high school band programs, Marco has performed in ensembles such as the Texas State Jazz Orchestra, the Salsa del Río at Texas State, the Symphonic Winds, the Bobcat Marching Band, as well as with Mariachi Los Lobos.
Teaching Philosophy: Music is a vital part of human life as it allows everyone to speak the same language. Being able to understand that language allows us all to connect better as human beings.
Get to know Marco Cano
Marco Cano is a trumpet player and music educator currently
attending Texas State University pursuing a degree in Music Studies. Marco has
been playing trumpet since the 6th grade and has continuously performed
throughout his life. He is a Lehman High School alum where he gained extensive
experience in the many different styles of trumpet. He is familiar with the
TMEA All State process and can help teach others those same skills it takes to
audition live and perform well. That being said, Marco is comfortable teaching
all ages from beginner levels to more advance techniques.
