Teaching Philosophy: I don't believe in talent. Anything we have a passion for will encourage us to grow and learn. Everyone can work hard and show improvement; its a question of are you willing to do the work? Besides that, I want my students to know that I have expectations of them and I am kind but strict. I use a mixture of fun work with technical work to keep them interested and practicing. You should enjoy the instrument you play, even if it's challenging. That's what keeps you motivated.
Get to know Margaret Hample
Margaret studied vocal performance at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia and graduated with a Bachelor of Music in 2017. She has been working with kids for over a decade and has spent the last two years teaching voice, piano, songwriting, and music theory to students of all ages. Outside of lessons, Margaret is currently working on writing and recording her own music and masterclasses.
