Maria studied a Music Therapy Major and a Psychology Minor at Berklee College of Music as well as a focus on Film scoring and performance. She strives to demonstrate that music is a medium for expression which every person can utilize. With the help of her multifarious instruments, she hopes to find each person’s voice so that they may be heard and teach each student how to use music in different ways. Maria hopes to one day make music education and music therapy accessible to all in order to bring people together from all over the world to share the gift of music. She has an eclectic musical style of teaching including Jazz, Latin, Celtic, Improvisation, Classical, fusion, and more. Maria has been teaching for eight years and strives to provide the best education for her students. Maria uses her positive attitude and tireless energy to encourage others to work hard and succeed. She looks forward to getting to know you as a student and learning about your specific goals, interests, and learning style.
