Teaching Philosophy: Music is an integral part of human culture on many levels, from the fundamental rhythms of life such as the beating of the heart to great works of art. Thus, music is unique in being a vehicle through which people can express both the trivial and the profound. Music is a special in that it can act as a means of spanning the gaps between the intellectual, the physical, and the spiritual. I firmly believe that every person has the capacity to express and enhance themselves with music!
