Get to know Mark Weber

Mark grew up in Southern California, lived in Austin, TX from 2002 to 2017, and currently resides on the outskirts of Nashville, TN.  A 2001 honors graduate of Musicians Institute in Hollywood, CA, he has played in bands, taught guitar lessons, did sales and repairs of instruments, and is a self-described “Guitar Lifer”.  He worked for Fender as a product specialist and did artist relations for the company in Austin.  Later, he was a consultant and in-house guitar tech for the Gibson Artist Showroom in Austin.  

In California and in Texas Mark had as many as 40 students per week when his teaching schedule was at its busiest.  He has also traveled the world as a touring guitar tech working with such prominent artists as Jimmie Vaughan, Lonestar, Josh Ritter, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Larry Carlton, Christopher Cross, Terri Clark, Billy Gibbons, among many others.  He is currently playing guitar with various artists in Nashville along with teaching music.
