Teaching Philosophy: I work with individual students to establish musical goals and to formulate a strategy to help the student attain their goals. The teaching features sequential learning and is curriculum based. With an emphasis on fundamentals (for example tone, intonation, articulation and legato, technical fluency, lip flexibility, phrasing and musicianship, and mental approach) the teaching builds a thinking musician with a strong and complete skill set ready to meet the demands of specific situations.
