About Matt Timko

Hi there! I've been playing drums in some capacity for about 30 years now. I started in 4th grade, and played throughout high school. I was involved in concert bands, jazz bands, concert percussion ensembles, award winning battery drum lines, and award winning indoor marching percussion ensembles. Post high school, I assisted in teaching high school drum lines, and have played in community concert bands. I  am self taught on the drum set, and currently play recreationally. Going full circle, I am now teaching my 10 year old daughter the drums, who entered the band program at a local elementary school in her 4th grade year, and is thriving. I look forward to sharing my passion and love for music and percussion to you and/or your child.
