About Meaghan L.

Meaghan has been playing flute for over 14 years. She is currently a student teacher on Long Island pursuing a Music Education degree from SUNY Fredonia, where she will graduate this May. Meaghan has been teaching privately for over 6 years and has experience working with all ages and abilities. In addition to flute, Meaghan has experience playing clarinet, oboe, sax, horn, trumpet, trombone, and percussion. Meaghan has been principal flute of Fredonia’s Symphony Orchestra, Wind Ensemble, Wind Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra, and Opera Pit. She loves playing new compositions with extended techniques like beatbox flute. Meaghan has also worked alongside the Philadelphia Orchestra during their summer season in Saratoga springs. Meaghan focuses on individual student needs and has tricks and techniques to help students not only play their instruments, but become well rounded musicians! From NYSSMA preparation to starting out on a new instrument, Meaghan is prepared to help students achieve to the best of their ability!
