Get to know Micaela Campos
Hello! My name is Micaela Campos. I hold a BA in Music and Biology from Kalamazoo College in Kalamazoo, MI where I studied piano with Silvia Roederer and jazz piano with Ron DiSalvio. At Kalamazoo College, I played in the Kalamazoo College Jazz Band, the Kalamazoo Phillharmonia and in pit orchestras for theater productions in the area. I also got to study abroad at the University of Aberdeen, where she took classes and performed with musicians in the Aberdeenshire region. As a teacher, I want to support my students in reaching any musical goals that they have. I have a collaborative and student-led approach encouraging my students to create and work on musical goals that suit their interests.
