About Michelle Harmeyer
Get to know Michelle Harmeyer
Michelle Harmeyer studied at Rowan University under a full tuition scholarship for French Horn making the Dean's List multiple times, and graduated in 2014 with her degree in Music Education. She studied horn under Karl Kramer and Lyndsie Wilson both decorated professional musicians that have played in Broadway productions, the Philly Pops, along with many other prominent groups. Michelle is currently enrolled in Kent State University's online program for her Masters in Music, Music Education degree and is on track to graduate in May of 2022.
Currently, Michelle teaches in the Bergenfield School District as a middle school band director and is an assistant band director to the internationally renowned Bergenfield High School Marching Band. Michelle has taught in Bergenfield for six school years; during the Summer, Michelle teaches private horn for grades 4-12 and also teaches beginning and intermediate bands at Bergenfield's Summer Enrichment Program. When Michelle isn't teaching in Bergenfield you can catch her playing with community groups such as the Tri Vally Brass Ensemble, Paramus Community Orchestra, and Bergen Youth Orchestra.
