Get to know Mike McKeithen
Originally from California, Michael (Mike) moved down to North Carolina in 2014 for his undergraduate studies. Though off to a late start in his musical journey when compared to his peers, Michael received his Bachelors of Arts from Queens University of Charlotte as a piano primary in 2019 with a focus on music composition, and his Masters degree at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts in 2022 with a focus on Film Music composition. Michael aims to spread his love of music and encourage each of his students it's never too late to learn/ begin one's musical experience. With patience, hard work and the passion to succeed, Michael believes anyone can be a musician and looks forward to helping in build future musicians.
