Performance Experience: Moustapha is a freelance musician. He primarily performs on Bass, playing what is asked of him in whichever style is necessary. He is primarily a jazz musician but will play a lot of variations of Indie and rock music as well. He also composes and performs original music for the Guitar that is performed solo or with accompaniment.
Teaching Experience: He has been teaching music since he was a student in college. Moustapha is a private lessons teacher that specializes in teaching beginner and intermediate Bass and Guitar students of all ages. He teaches primarily technique, theory, and will help students that are struggling with certain pieces of music.
Teaching Philosophy: Moustapha’s goal is to help the student understand their goals, then provide a detailed and curated way to accomplish it. He wants to take a new or existing student of Bass or Guitar and provide a base of knowledge and skills that will take the student to the next stage of learning prepared and ready to go.

Moustapha is a passionate musician focused on the development of newer students striving to understand the whys and hows of music. He uses his knowledge of history, technique, and music theory to help new and existing students learn and understand music from an inside out perspective. He is a recent graduate with a few years of teaching experience and eager to get students to learn and be excited about their musical journey!
