Teaching Philosophy: The student is their own best teacher; my work is to guide and direct them, making them aware of what they can learn. I'm simply a more experienced student.
Get to know Nathan Biedzynski
Nathan Biedzynski has been playing drums and percussion for over 15 years with a wide range of experience, currently playing for the metal group Once Revealed and other freelance projects. He has degrees in Music Education and Music Performance from Shepherd University, as well as experience in drum corps, jazz, theater, worship, and classical percussion.
Nathan has, since his teen years, been teaching in some capacity; giving private drum lessons, tutoring music theory/aural skills, instructing drum lines, and leading workshops (such as the Shepherd Honor Band). As an educator, he has worked for several years in Special Education as an itinerant Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing in Berkeley County Schools.
