      Teaching Philosophy: I aim to teach students the skills that they need to be well-rounded and comfortable on the set, while making sure they are prepared to play the kinds of music they are most interested in. I strive to create a fun, relaxed atmosphere in my lessons, so that students are encouraged to practice and improve.

      Get to know Nathan Dufresne

       Nathan Dufresne is a drummer and percussionist based in Savage MD. He has played drum set with the HCC jazz ensemble, as well as his local church, and is currently a percussionist with the Columbia Orchestra. Nathan's teaching philosophy is based around serving the student's needs, and teaching them the skills most relevant to the kinds of music they want to play. Outside of music, he is also a volleyball player, recreational music arranger, and jigsaw puzzle enthusiast.
