Teaching Experience: Mr. West has held his own private trumpet studio for almost 8 years now. Additionally, he taught performance and music theory on a collegiate level for 2 years.
Teaching Philosophy: Fueling a creative drive in a student does more for learning music than any lecture ever could. Music reflects life and life invokes music. Each life experience is different and so is each learning experience. My biggest goal is to create an encouraging environment for each student to find their creative drive so their learning experience can be as unique as they are.
