About Natone Morgan

Greetings, my name is Natone Morgan, aka "Tone". My journey on the guitar began in 2008. I first picked up a guitar because I felt as though I had mastered the Guitar Hero game on Xbox, now I was ready for the "real thing". After 6 years  of teaching myself, and playing by ear, I took classes at Grossmont College in San Diego, CA. While there, I studied with master classical guitarists Fred Benedetti and Robert Wetzel. I also played in guitar ensemble, performed solo/duet recitals, and tutored fellow classmates.

By 2017 I had earned my associates degree in music (classical studies). Upon graduating I worked at Taylor Guitar Factory as a guitar builder, while employed I simultaneously taught lessons and performed on the side. I've taught many students of all ages and experience levels, my current focus is classical guitar, I can play many styles though. If you want to learn songs, chords, scales, theory, notation, reading, writing, strumming, jamming, improving, or all of the above, it would be my pleasure to help you achieve your musical goals!
