Performance Experience: Niall has performed in multiple sets of guitar ensembles, performed on guitar in the premier jazz band of East Texas Baptist University, performed in an acapella vocal group, performed in a concert size choir, performed on guitar in an orchestra production, and have performed internationally in Peru.
Teaching Experience: Teaching Music lessons for 6 years
Teaching Philosophy: All students are individuals who excel through different learning environments and curriculums. It is my responsibility as a teacher to closely assist a student in discovering how they can thrive through their own process. I believe that no student’s education can be satisfied by a one-size-fits-all curriculum and so a modern instructor must be willing to adapt to ensure the full achievement of the student.
Get to know Niall McCright
Having completed a Bachelor of Music from East Texas Baptist University Niall has been involved in the training and teaching of less experienced musicians for the past 4 years. Recently moving to Waco, Niall has a desire to continue creating beautiful and rewarding music in any way he can. His passion for music emerged in his early high school days when he and his friends formed a band at his local church singing, playing bass, and playing guitar. He added piano and jazz guitar to his instruments during his time at ETBU. Niall desires to help anyone who wants to learn an instrument achieve their goal. Niall's goal is to become a composer for multimedia interactive platforms such as video games.
